CASS is a registered Charity No. 1098224 Funded by the Big Lottery

The Big Lottery is funding a volunteer assistance project for older and disabled people for a period of three years, providing direct practical help for disabled and older people where this is not provided statutorily including gardening, small handy jobs and so on.

CASS Befriending Scheme

Community Advice and Support Scheme is offering adults with disabilities a befriending scheme as part of its practical assistance for disabled peoples' project.

This service aims to match a trained volunteer with a disabled person who is housebound and isolated. Friendship is the heart of this initiative. Volunteers can sit and chat with the disabled person they befriend.

Could you be a volunteer?

If you are able to empathise with people who are disadvantaged due to disability and who become isolated and cut off from community, please volunteer for CASS.
